Mobile Phone Cooler
Ever noticed your phone getting hot while playing games or watching videos? That’s because your phone works really hard! To keep your phone cool and happy, we use something called a mobile phone cooler or a phone fan cooler. It’s like a tiny fan for your phone.
Why does my phone heat up?
I have an iPhone XR that I have used for more than 5 years. Whenever I drive out in the summer and put my phone on the car mount, after 20 minutes, my phone starts to get hot, the signal fails, and the connected navigation is disconnected.
So, that’s why I wanted to figure out why my phone is heating up and find a solution.
I kept searching the internet for feedback from all over the world, mostly from social media, comment sections on e-commerce sites, and various mobile phone forums.
Your phone’s internal components can heat up for several reasons, much like how a computer’s components do when they’re working hard.
Here’s a breakdown of the main culprits:
1. Running Heavy Apps and Games
When you use demanding apps or play graphics-intensive games, your phone’s processor and graphics chip have to work really hard, which generates a lot of heat.
2. High Screen Brightness
Keeping your screen brightness turned up high uses more battery power, which can lead to your phone getting hotter, especially if you’re using it for a long time.
3. Poor Airflow
If your phone is in a case that doesn’t let heat escape, or if it’s just not designed for good ventilation, it can trap heat inside, making it feel hot.
4. Background Apps
Sometimes, apps keep running in the background without you realizing it. These can use up resources and make your phone heat up.
5. Software Problems
Bugs in apps or the operating system can cause your phone to work harder than it needs to, leading to overheating.
6. Battery Issues
An old or damaged battery may struggle to keep up with your phone’s power needs, which can cause it to heat up more than usual.
7. Overcharging
If you leave your phone plugged in for too long, especially after it’s fully charged, it can cause the battery to get hot.
8. Hot Environment
Using your phone in a hot place, like leaving it in a car on a sunny day, can also contribute to overheating since it’s harder for the device to cool down.
Finally, I found that my iPhone XR was overheating because the battery health dropped to 72% after long-term use and was used under high temperature exposure.
OK, Well.
If your phone is also frequently hot, you can check what is causing it through the above content.
Types of Phone cooler fan
Because I love playing games, I want to buy a mobile phone cooler.
So I spent some time to learn what types of radiators there are.
Fan-type radiators, semiconductor radiators and water-cooled radiators are common heat dissipation solutions, each with different characteristics and application scenarios.
| Type of Cooler | Working Principle | Advantages | Disadvantages |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fan Coolers | Uses a fan to blow air over a heat sink, which absorbs heat from the device. | – Inexpensive – Easy to maintain – Good for most devices | – Can be noisy – Less effective for high-performance needs |
| Semiconductor Coolers | Uses electricity to create a temperature difference; one side cools while the other heats up. | – Can provide strong cooling – Compact design | – Less efficient – Requires more power |
| Water Coolers | Circulates liquid to absorb heat; heated liquid is cooled in a radiator with fans. | – Very effective for high performance – Good for overclocking | – More complex setup – Higher cost and maintenance |
Remark: this is fan phone cooler.
How to choose a suitable mobile cooler
All right, that’s really a question for people who don’t know.
There is 3 question when you make a decision.
1.Consider the model of phone
Make sure the cooler is compatible with your specific phone model. Different phones have varying sizes and port placements, so selecting a cooler that fits well is essential for effective cooling.
2. Check the Size and Weight of the Cooler
Look at the dimensions and weight of the cooler. A bulky or heavy cooler may be inconvenient to carry around, especially if you plan to use it on the go.
A compact and lightweight cooler is easier to handle and more portable.
3. Monitor the Noise Level
Some coolers can be noisy when in operation. If you’re sensitive to noise or plan to use your phone in quiet environments, look for coolers that offer low noise levels.
Many models specify their noise ratings, so check user reviews for feedback on this aspect.
4. Additional Considerations
- Cooling Performance: Research the cooling efficiency of the cooler. Read product specifications and user reviews to ensure it effectively reduces heat.
- Material and Design: Opt for coolers made from high-quality materials, such as aluminum, which provide better heat dissipation. Look for designs that include ventilation features for optimal airflow.
- Portability: If you need to use the cooler outdoors or while traveling, choose a model that is easy to carry and set up.
- Brand Reputation: Consider well-known brands with positive reviews. Established brands often provide better quality assurance and customer support.
By keeping these factors in mind, you can select a phone cooler that meets your needs and enhances your gaming or usage experience.
How to use Mobile Cooling fan
Usually, they are composed of three parts: a circular magnetic ring and a magnetic cell phone cooler and a usb charging cable.
1.Tear off the sticker of the magnetic ring and stick it on the back of your phone or phone case
2.Attach the cooling fan mobile to the magnetic ring
3. Connect the data cable to the charging port of the cooler, the neon light will light up, and the fan will start to rotate.
At this point, the phone cooler will start working to cool down your phone.
Pay Attention:
- Do not cover the heat dissipation holes for a long time.
- Pay attention to the cleanliness of the radiator.
- Avoid using inferior products.
- Now there are many radiators with wireless charging function, make sure your charger output can support the data cable.
